Daniel Niblett

Research Associate

Dr Daniel Niblett is Research Associate in mathematical modelling of water electrolysis process for hydrogen production at Newcastle University. EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellow and PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester with focus on multi-phase flow through porous materials in hydrogen fuel cells and 3D printing of customised electrodes. Developer and founder of porous material design software PMG (Porous Microstructure Generator). Experience in computational fluid dynamics (OpenFOAM) and custom model development (MATLAB). Leading the design, prediction and manufacturing of membraneless electrolysis at Newcastle University as part of the Ocean Refuel project.
